In-Line Dumpy Gripper Lead
This is the solid in-line dumpy gripper lead which makes for a perfect bolt rig on most lake and river bottoms. It has a broken up green hard camo coating to disguise the lead to fool wary fish.
It has an insert which runs through the lead which your line passes through and the thick end is large enough to house a size 8 swivel to create the bolt effect.
This shows what the lead sinker set up should look like.
Thread the tail rubber and lead (sinker) onto the main line and tie your knot onto the swivel of the rig. Push your tail rubber onto the lead and pull the swivel into the lead for a semi-fixed set-up. This will act as a bolt rig with the weight on the lead pulling the hook into the fish when he takes the bait. The final picture shows the complete set-up. The tapered sleeve and tail rubber help to prevent tangles on the cast.
Tail Rubbers are sold separately that are required for the tag end to ensure you do not wrap the line around on the cast.
